- I want to get a student’s newsletter. How do I do that?
- You can only get a newsletter if you were invited and consequently received an invitational email (Parents, log in with your child and invite yourself so you get an email too). To sign up you have to click on the link on your email that says, sign up or learn more. If your email doesn’t have a link (it is in plain text), then you need to copy and paste the URL provided (it starts with http://...).
- Can I just sign up here on the site?
- No. For security reasons, you must be invited by the student (student’s family), receive the invitational email and you must click on the link on that email to begin your subscription. It’s easy; you just have to click on the link on your email and then follow the directions.
- When I click on the link on my email, I see a page that says “Access Denied.” How can I sign up?
- This most likely means that you have already responded and the site has recorded your response. If you clicked the sign up link previously and created a username and password and indicated your payment preference, the site will no longer allow you access to this section. Likewise, if you clicked on the reject link on your email, you can no longer access this section.
- I accidentally clicked the “reject” button and I want to subscribe. What should I do?
- Contact the student or the school and ask them to “re-invite” you. They will need to delete your old account and send you a fresh invitation.
- I opted to pay by mail, but changed my mind and want to now pay by credit card. What should I do?
- Call the school with your credit card information.
- I’ve been invited by a second student and the system won’t let me sign up. What do I do?
- You only have to sign up one time. If you’ve already subscribed to a child and you want to respond to another child, you only need to click on the link on your email and you’re instantly signed up. You don’t need to do anything else.
- How can I change my email address?
- You can change your email address by logging in at the School Moments web site. Your usnername is your email address – and the password you created when you signed up. If you’ve forgotten your password or having trouble logging in, use the forgot password feature to reset your password.
- When will I receive my next publication?
- To find out when the next publication will arrive, login at School Moments using your email address as your username and your password (that you created when you signed up). If you can’t remember your password, use the reset password feature.
- The School Moments site doesn’t accept my password. What should I do?
- You might try checking to see if your caps are locked (passwords are case sensitive). Also, check your Num Lock key. Be sure you are using the correct email address (the one that received your invitational email) when you log in. If you continue to have problems, use the password reset feature on the site or call the school that invited you.
